I installed them two seasons ago after I almost fell off my one-story garage. I installed them myself. The installation is pretty straightforward and you can cut them if you like. I like not having to climb on my roof anymore. It is easy to use broom or water hose to knock off large debris. Nothing to dislike except for maybe the price. They were around $99 for 25 feet of guards. The 5 series refers to the width I belive as they are four feet and five inches. No repairs, they seem to be holding up very well. This fall will be the third season that they have been on my roof. I have a huge tree that overhangs over the garage. I already recommended to a neighbor after he saw me hosing off one day. I also wrote a review online and received some questions from fellow Do it Yourselfers with respect to the gutter guards specifically related to the clips holding up and whether I did any modifications. I did no modifications and they seem like they are still holding very tight. I am wondering if they purchased the right size because I think many people think gutters are all the same size. So in conclusion, I do recommend it to my friends and neighbors and I intend to buy again when I move to my new house next year.
